This guide helps identify and disassemble the old magnet rings. It covers the magnet rings for the Automatic, Automatic+, Harmony, and Harmony H|sync hub interface models. This is useful to know, for example, when retrofitting a bicycle to the latest AUTOMATiQ.

These were the previous hub magnet rings:
- A - Automatic, Automatic+ (these have a white sticker inside).
- B - Harmony, Harmony H|sync (these look like part of the hub shell).

Disassembly instructions
Disassemble the legacy sprocket magnet ring
- Remove the old sprocket magnet.
- The previous sprocket magnet ring is just clipped in and can be easily removed without a tool.
Disassemble the legacy hub magnet ring
For the Automatic, or Automatic+ ring:
- Remove the old magnet ring using a 2,5mm Allen key.
For the Harmony, or Harmony H|sync ring:
- Remove the old magnet disk.
- Use the help of a flat screwdriver to lift the disk
- Note that this magnet disc can be confused as being part of the hub shell.
