Problem diagnosis
- BOSCH display shows error codes 1B7610, 1B7612, or 1B7613 indicating communication error between BOSCH and enviolo AUTOMATiQ
Step-by-step solution
Update
- enviolo AUTOMATiQ firmware to V13 or newer
- UPDATE BOSCH Smart system software to V11.26 or newer
- Power cycle eBike system by turning it off and on, and try again.
After performing these updates, you should be able to adjust cadence setpoint as in below video:
Re-connecting
If you still get the error code, please re-connect AUTOMATiQ and BOSCH Smart system. You can do it in two different ways:
- Use Bosch Diagnostic tool Remove AUTOMATiQ as the eShift component via the or Bosch Flow App and pair it again. Wait 20 seconds for the connection to be established. If the error message returns immediately, try cross-testing the LED Remote and the AUTOMATiQ.
- Use the Bosch Flow app. Go to eBike -> components -> remove the enviolo eshift. Then add a new device -> choose "other" and press the white button on the enviolo AUTOMATiQ interface for 2-3 seconds until it starts blinking blue. Flow app should offer you AUTOMATiQ interface to connect.
Other things to try
- Check that the Bosch LED remote is charged. If the battery charge is too low, there is a chance that Bluetooth connection will fail. The battery is charged automatically when the bike is powered on within couple of minutes. Alternatively, Bosch LED remote can be charged with a USB-C compatible charger.
- If you keep having an error message in the Bosch Diagnostic Tool, make sure to reach out to Bosch.
- If the Bosch Diagnostic Tool is stuck in a connection loop, disconnect the cable from the AUTOMATiQ, remove AUTOMATiQ via Bosch Diagnostic Tool, connect the cable to AUTOMATiQ and pair it again.
Done
Your BOSCH and AUTOMATiQ Bluetooth connection should now be stable. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to enviolo Support.
