This guide has the proper assembly torques for the Heavy Duty (HD) and Extreme 148mm modular axle hubs. The two hubs have different values from each other.

148mm modular axle 

All hubs Post-2024 with M8 bolts

• Screw, socket head, M8 x 1.25 x 40 (HW-MA-SHS-M8x40-OE)
  15-20 Nm
• Adapter, Torque reaction (HW-MA-TORQ-OE)
  5 - 6 Nm
• Axle bolts (HW-MA-1PC-SYN-OE/HW-MA-1PC-12TA-OE/HW-MA-1PC-UDH-OE)
  15 - 20 Nm
• Adapter locknut (HW-MA-LNUT-OE)
  6 - 8 Nm

All hubs (except Extreme) Pre-2024 with M6 bolts

• Screw, button head, M5 x 0.8 x 16L, alloy (HW-BHS-M5X.8X16-OE)
  5,5 - 6,2 Nm
• Right side spacer (not threaded in all cases)
  5 - 10 Nm
• Axle bolts (HW-SHCS-M6X1X60-OE / HW-SHCS-M6X1X60-OE)
  10 - 15 Nm
• Adapter locknut (HW-LNUT-OE)
  5 - 7 Nm

Backward compatibility

These M6 specifications are compatible with legacy enviolo Sportive (SP) and Cargo (CA) 148mm modular axle hubs.
