The 148mm modular axle hubs, such as the Extreme and Heavy Duty, have a slightly different disk brake mounting procedure than their 135mm variants.

This guide will help you mount the disk brake on 148mm modular hubs.

Backward compatibility

This guide is compatible with legacy enviolo Sportive (SP) and Cargo (CA) 148mm modular axle hubs. From MY 2025 on the brake spacer and long screws are no longer required.

• 6-bolt disk rotor
• Disk brake spacer (only for legacy hubs)
• Flat screwdriver
• 148mm mounting kit 

Instructions

1. Place the disk brake spacer (9) on the hub, following the instructions of the supplier. (only for legacy hubs)
2. Place the brake disk rotor over the spacer.
3. Tighten using the longer M5*16 bolts (10) supplied in the 148mm mounting kit.
4. Place the torque adapter on the axle.
   • Orientate it at an angle that it slides into place.
5. Secure it with the snap ring.
   • Use the help of a small flat screwdriver.
