If a configuration is missing, the Enviolo Automatic (AutomatiQ) interface will not shift. The Enviolo Automatic needs to be configured in order for calibration to work, for without calibration, the Enviolo Automatic interface will not shift.

The Enviolo Automatic interfaces with firmware version from V10/R48 are automatically calibrated in the background, passively, while pedalling.

Problem diagnosis

There are 3 known situations when this issue happens:

1. New bike with unconfigured Enviolo Automatic
   The bike is brand new and calibration is not possible, the interface keeps flashing red and green and the bike doesn’t shift at all or not correctly.
2. New interface installed after rebuilding eBike to Enviolo Automatic
   The bike was previously equipped with an MHI or older automatic system, and it’s not possible to make use of the “configuration look up” functionality in the app.
    
3. Replacement interface where the Enviolo Automatic system was already equipped
   The bike receives a new interface due to the replacement of a faulty one. The new interface comes without a configuration.

Step-by-step solution

Situation 1

New bike with unconfigured AHI:

1. Please get in contact with the bike brand, as they will be able to provide you with the official QR Code with the bike configuration on it.
2. Afterwards, please scan the QR Code with the enviolo smartphone application.

Situation 2

New interface installed after rebuilding to Enviolo Automatic System:

1. Please request a new QR Code from us. This can be done by filling out this QR Code form.
   • The created QR Code is universal for the configuration of the bike. Any bike with the same specifications can therefore use the same QR Code for the configuration of the AHI.
2. Once you have the QR code, please scan the QR Code with the enviolo smartphone application.

Situation 3

For a replacement interface where the Enviolo Automatic system was already equipped:

1. Use configuration lookup in the app and enter the serial number of the old Enviolo Automatic interface.
2. Click “flash” to transfer the configuration to the new interface.

If the above doesn’t work, which could be due to an unconfigured old AHI or unknown serial number, please request a QR Code like in situation 2:

1. Please request a new QR Code from us. This can be done by filling out this QR Code form.
   • The created QR Code is universal for the configuration of the bike. Any bike with the same specifications can therefore use the same QR Code for the configuration of the AHI.
2. Once you have the QR code, please scan the QR Code with the enviolo App.
