This guide explains how to replace the entire shifting grip of an enviolo controller, including both the rubber grip and its internal plastic gear.
"I only want to replace the rubber grip"
If you’re only trying to replace the rubber grip (that is worn out, and otherwise shifting is ok), then see how to replace the shifting rubber grip only.

Servicing instructions
- Remove the cable end hardware from both cables and remove the shift cables from the controller housing.
- Remove the Phillips screw on the bottom of the manual controller and remove the bottom cover by pulling lightly on the access tab.
- Using a small flat screwdriver or pointed object, extract the cable anchors and shift cables from the grip pulley.
- Rotate the grip to access individual cable anchors.
- Remove the small bit of cable from the cable end stops and set cable end stops aside.
- Remove the grips and controller from the handlebar.
- Rotate the controller so it is in the full overdrive position, and pull the grip to remove it.
- Assemble the new grip
- Make sure the groove in the carrier (internal plastic gear) is correctly aligned with the controller.
- Reassemble the controller and grip.
