- “Refurbished Product” means an Enviolo Product rebuilt, reconditioned, and tested to Enviolo’s functional specifications.
2. Scope and Interaction with Statutory Rights
- 2.1. This Warranty constitutes Enviolo’s voluntary warranty and applies exclusively to Enviolo Products used within Enviolo’s published specifications, including permitted torque values, system weight limits, ratio ranges, voltage parameters, mounting interfaces, and intended applications.
- 2.2. This Warranty operates in parallel with, and does not replace, any statutory rights relating to the conformity of goods which the Original Purchaser may have under applicable national or European Union law.
- 2.3. Where statutory conformity remedies apply against the seller of the bicycle, such rights remain solely enforceable against that seller. This Warranty provides additional rights directly against Enviolo.
3. Warranty Period
- 3.1. Subject to these Terms, Enviolo warrants that Enviolo Products are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of original retail purchase.
- 3.2. Where Enviolo provides a replacement Enviolo Product under this Warranty, (1) the replacement inherits the unexpired portion of the original two-year Warranty Period; and (2) if the replacement is issued after month 18 of the original Warranty Period, the replacement is covered by a separate six (6) month warranty commencing on the date of delivery of the replacement.
- 3.3. Repairs performed under this Warranty do not extend, suspend, or renew the Warranty Period.
- 3.4. Refurbished Products provided as warranty replacements are subject to Clause 3.2.
4. Non-Transferability
This Warranty applies solely to the Original Purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owners of the bicycle or Enviolo Product, unless statutory local law provides otherwise.
5. Enclosed System and Repair Restrictions
- 5.1. Enviolo CVP hubs and Automatic systems are sealed and enclosed. They are not designed for disassembly or repair by end-users. This excludes Manual controllers, electronic controllers and their battery compartments, and freewheel assemblies.
- 5.2. Opening, modifying, tampering with, reverse engineering, or otherwise interfering with an Enviolo Product, whether mechanical or electronic, automatically voids this Warranty.
- 5.3. Maintenance, diagnostics, and warranty evaluations may only be performed by Enviolo or an Authorized Retailer.
- 5.4. Nothing in this Clause affects statutory rights relating to conformity, where applicable.
6. Refurbished Products
- 6.1. Enviolo may use new or Refurbished Products to fulfill its obligations under this Warranty.
- 6.2. A Refurbished Product (a) is tested to Enviolo’s performance criteria; (b) may contain previously used components meeting Enviolo’s quality standards; (c) may be identified with a revised serial number; and (d) receives the applicable warranty coverage under Clause 3.

In such cases, Enviolo’s obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the event.
9. Warranty Claim Process

- 9.4. Approved Warranty claims shall be processed by Enviolo and its Authorized Retailers without undue delay, taking into account the nature of the defect, parts availability, logistics, and applicable local circumstances.
- 9.5. Shipping costs for approved Warranty claims shall be borne by Enviolo, provided that such costs are reasonable, pre-approved where required, and incurred in accordance with Enviolo’s applicable warranty and logistics procedures.
