AHI configuration is a set of parameters that are needed for AHI devices to properly function. We will set this up step-by-step via the enviolo backend.
Step-by-step instructions
Video instructions
1 - Log in to AUTOMATiQ backend
To log in to the AutomatiQ backend:
- Product managers receive credentials pro-actively. If you're a product manager and haven't received or lost your credentials, please reach out to your sales representative.
- Go to https://automatiq.enviolo.com/ and use your credentials to log in.
Are you a retailer?
Retail/dealers do not need to log in to the AutomatiQ backend. If you need an AHI configuration, you can request one using this form. You will receive a QR code to configure the AHI. After receiving the QR code, you can upload it to the AHI using the AUTOMATiQ App - see detailed instructions.
2 - Create a new AHI configuration
After logging in, you can create an AHI configuration:
- Click on AHI Configuration.
- Then, on the top-right corner of the screen, select Add Configuration.
3 - Set the parameters for the new AHI configuration
After creating an AHI configuration, you can now set its parameters:
3.1 - Set the AHI Details
- Set the Status of the AHI configuration.
- Set the AHI configuration status to Production if you need assemblers to access it in the App's Assembly Mode.
- If you put the status on Test or Outdated this will not be available to the assembly user.
- Set a Configuration name.
- You can choose a Configuration name yourself, something that would make sense for the people working with this specific configuration.
- from the dropdown menu.
- Select the Bike model and Model year.
- Make sure you type the right bike model and use the correct model year.
3.2 - Set the Ride Settings
- Please check which AHI type you are using or will be using.
- Configure the remaining settings.
- The rest is up to you to decide, but it will have an effect on the riding experience.
Recommended settings
For the default settings, we advise:
- Minimum cadence: 30
- Maximum cadence: 120 (unless it's Pure then it should be 90)
- Cadence setpoint: 60
- Cadence increment: 1
- Start after stop: 0.6 (customer can adjust this in the app)
- Sleep mode timeout: 5
Note
You can click on the little (i) icon for more information.
3.3 - Set the Bike details
- Details must be correctly set per bike model.
Next step: uploading the configuration
If you follow the steps above, you should now have a newly created AHI configuration. Next, a production line or assembler will need to flash it to the eBike's automatic hub interface during assembly.
See this guide for different methods and their instructions - How to upload a configuration to the AHI (for assemblers).
