It is possible to set the Enviolo Automatic (AutomatiQ) system to automatic or manual mode (electronic shifting). This can be adjusted in the Enviolo app.

Operation modes

Operation mode - change between fully automatic or manual shifting. This can be only done via the enviolo app. In the app on the settings tab, bottom left option of the navigation bar, you can choose the operation mode in the top of the screen. You have two options:

Auto

This is always the recommended mode. And works based on your cadence setpoint.

Manual

Manual electronic shifting. It is only useful if you have a CLiQ controller or integrated system that allows you to change the cadence manually. The enviolo AUTOMATiQ system will emulate 9 gears spread over the whole range. It is not possible to adjust these gear ratios.

Mode restarts when restarting the e-bike

Note that the operation mode restartes when the e-bike is turned back on. The mode will default back to automatic.
