What to do when moisture has gathered in the display of your NuVinci Advanced Rider Controller (ARC).

Problem diagnosis

There’s moisture gathered inside the display, and there could be multiple reasons for that:

Moisture is possible in extreme weather conditions and big temperature changes during winter time, leading to condensed water inside the display.
It’s also possible there are cracks in the display.

Solution

We recommend checking for cracks. But ultimately, there's no harm to it, and it should go away when it's warmer.

Check the display for any cracks.

Wait for a warmer period, so the moisture can evaporate. You can also try keeping the bicycle indoors, in a dry and warm location.

If the dampness persists after a warmer period, or if there's indeed a crack causing water in the display, please get in touch with our Support team.
