This article will explain how to calibrate the AUTOMATiQ, using the integrated BOSCH System.

When to conduct a calibration

Calibration needs to be done after one of the following:

• After the initial assembly of the e-bike.
• When the AUTOMATiQ hub interface was removed from the hub for maintenance reasons.
• When the system does not work properly.

• A bicycle with a BOSCH Intuvia integrated system.

Calibration instructions

1. Turn on the Bosch Intuvia system.
   
2. Select no motor assist.
3. Activate the "configuration mode" through simultaneous push and hold of [RESET] and [i] buttons (A & B).
4. Push the [i] button (B), until you can see "gear calibration" on the screen.
5. While pedaling, press the "Light" button (C) to start calibration.
6. Pedal the e-bike lightly through the entire calibration process (preferably on a stand with the rear wheel off the ground), while the system shifts from full underdrive to full overdrive multiple times and completes the calibration process.
   • This process can take ~25 seconds.
7. After completion of the calibration process, the system returns to the ride mode automatically.

BOSCH Nyon 2

• A bicycle with a BOSCH Nyon 2 integrated system.

Calibration instructions

1. Turn on the Bosch Nyon system.
   
2. Select no motor assist.
3. Enter the "Settings" menu by pressing the [>] and [<] keys and confirm your selection with the pound key [<>].
4. Use [+] and [-] to select the menu item "My eBike" and confirm your selection with [<>] or [>].
5. Select the menu item "eShift" and confirm your selection.
6. Select the menu item "Calibration" and confirm your selection.
7. Pedal the e-bike lightly through the entire calibration process (preferably on a stand with the rear wheel off the ground), while the system shifts from full underdrive to full overdrive multiple times and completes the calibration process.
   •  This process can take ~25 seconds.
8. After completion of the calibration process exit the menu.

BOSCH Kiox

1. Turn on the Bosch Kiox system.
   
2. Select no motor assist.
3. Enter the "Settings" menu by pressing the [>] and [<] keys and confirm your selection with the pound key [<>].
4. Use [+] and [-] to select the menu item "My eBike" and confirm your selection with [<>] or [>].
5. Select the menu item "eShift" and confirm your selection.
6. Select the menu item "Calibration" and confirm your selection.
