This article will explain how to calibrate the AUTOMATiQ, using the integrated Bafang system.
Calibration needs to be done after one of the following:
- After the initial assembly of the e-bike.
- When the AUTOMATiQ hub interface was removed from the hub for maintenance reasons.
- When the system does not work properly.

- A bicycle with a Bafang integrated system.
Calibration instructions
- Turn on the Bafang system.
- Select no motor assist.
- To calibrate the bike, double-press the [I] button.
- Scroll down in the settings screen to e-shifting and select ‘Calibration’ to start the calibration.
- Confirm by pushing the I-button.
Calibration done
