This guide will walk you through how to manually calibrate the Enviolo AutomatiQ using the Enviolo app, and when the automatic interface has older firmware (R47 and V09, and older).
We recommend auto calibration
If your system is up to date, the Enviolo Automatic will passively calibrate while riding. It is the best way to keep your system optimised – see firmware update guide.

- A mobile device with the Enviolo Automatic App installed:
- Android 8 or higher - Download from Google Play Store
- iOS 13 or higher - Download from Apple App Store
Instructions
- Open the Enviolo Automatic app on your smartphone.
- Activate Bluetooth.
- Turn on the e-bike drive system.
- On the Devices List panel, tap on your Enviolo Automatic interface.
- If you’re connecting to an Enviolo Automatic interface for the first time, then you need to pair it first.
- To activate pairing mode, press the white button on the Enviolo Automati (A) for 3 seconds until it starts blinking blue. The Automatic will then show in the Devices List.
- Once you get to the main screen, the Settings panel, tap on CALIBRATE AUTOMATiQ.
- Start the calibration, following the instructions on the screen:
- You will need to pedal consistently for about 25 seconds.
- Make sure the rear wheel can spin freely.
- When done, a confirmation message will prompt.
Done
The e-bike is calibrated and ready to go.

Enviolo Automatic manual calibration
Manual calibration of the Enviolo Automatic is only required when using older firmware versions (pre-firmware R48 and V10) and after one of the following:
- After the initial assembly of the e-bike.
- When the automatic hub interface was removed for maintenance reasons.
- When the system does not work properly.
