If your flat or offset sprocket is making noise, see below what to do.

Backward compatibility

This guide is compatible with legacy 135mm solid axle hubs (Commercial/CO, Sportive/SP, Cargo/CA, N360, N380, N380SE), and 148mm modular axle hubs (Sportive/SP, Cargo/CA).
 

Problem

Upon inspection, you detect one of the following:

• A noise is coming from the rear flat or offset sprocket.
• The flat or offset sprocket is missing a spacer or more, causing the noise.
• The sprocket shows signs of wear or manufacturing defect, causing the noise.
• The freewheel is dirty or shows signs of wear or manufacturing defect, causing the noise.

Solution

To fix this noise, follow these steps:

1. Check the sprocket components to ensure they’re correct.

2. Check if the assembly components are correct, especially if the correct spacers are present.
3. If the noise persists, or the sprocket has evident defects or wear, assemble a new sprocket.
4. If the noise persists after assembling a new sprocket, clean the freewheel.

5. If the noise persists after cleaning the freewheel, assemble a new one.
6. If the above recommendations don’t resolve the issue, contact support.
