See how to calibrate using the Enviolo Automatic (AutomatiQ). The Enviolo Automatic needs to be calibrated to work. There are multiple ways to get it done, but we recommend using auto-calibration.

Calibration options
Auto calibration
Auto calibration is the best way to calibrate the Enviolo Automatic – available since firmware version R48 and V10. To update your firmware, see: How to update the Enviolo Automatic with the latest firmware version
Auto calibration keeps the system optimized
If your system is up to date – latest app and firmware – the Enviolo Automatic will passively calibrate while riding. It is the best way to keep your system optimised.
Manual calibration
Manual calibration of the Enviolo Automatic is only required when using older firmware versions (pre-firmware R48 and V10) and after one of the following:
- After the initial assembly of the e-bike.
- When the automatic hub interface was removed for maintenance reasons.
- When the system does not work properly.

Update instructions
To update the Enviolo firmware:
- Connect the Enviolo app with the Enviolo Automatic interface that you would like to update.
- The Enviolo smartphone app will show you a notification if firmware update is available when you start the app.

Click on update and the app will install the newest firmware onto your device.
- You can also go to settings and click on the "Firmware" button to manually check if latest firmware is installed.
